Guerlain strips things down to the bare essentials for a new beauty campaign. The Spring 2021 campaign, which highlights the brand’s L’Essential foundation, features creative direction from Robert Lussier and Mia Forsgren of The Style Council and photography by Inez and Vinoodh.
Conceptually simple and elegant, the campaign is subtly inspired by the classical motif of the three graces, as well as the world of ballet. The former influence can be felt in the grace of our three strikingly beautiful talents, and the latter in pirouette-like camera work and a delicate piano soundtrack. This sense of elegant roundness can also be recognized in the product itself, which the creative team smartly works into the campaign imagery.
